Lower B - Hailing from Bangor, Maine, Lower B is made up of lead singer and guitarist Alex Rosenblatt, drummer Mike Farthing, and bass player Luke Nabozny. Farthing and Nabozny are former members of the recently defunct Blue Line which had brought a strong rhythm and blues presence back into Bangor area bars for the past few years. Recently the band was forced to an end when 2 of the members went to college to pursue other musical goals. Rosenblatt on the other hand has enjoyed much success as a solo performer, most recently finding a summer home at popular bars like Geddy's in Bar Harbor, Maine. Due to the trio's childhood friendship, they decided to merge and form a new identity as Lower B. The blending of Luke and Mike's crazy jamming with Alex's soulful and contemporary acoustic style is delighting audiences and forming a string following. The band is planning on going into the studio in the winter of 2002-2003 to record their first album and then touring the state through the spring, which will hopefully lead into a larger tour during Summer and Fall of 2003.
